Located a five to ten-minute walk from the surf break and the center of Pavones, Mira Olas Pavones offers you both proximity to the beach and a secluded jungle hideaway. They have comfortable cabins set in a tropical orchard and backed by jungle. This is a great spot for wildlife viewing, with common sightings of three species of monkey, sloths, coatis, scarlet macaws, toucans, and an array of other birds! From the top of the hill behind the cabins, there are panoramic views of the Golfo Dulce.
There is also a short trail that takes one to the Rio Claro for a refreshing dip in the crystal clear waters of the river. As committed environmentalists, they support local conservation efforts to preserve the natural beauty of Pavones. They try to tread lightly, avoiding unsustainable practices. Consequently, Mira Olas Pavones does not offer air conditioning but rather use fans, have insulated roofs and good air circulation.
They have two modern cabinas and a jungle deluxe cabin. The modern cabins are fully screened, have glass windows, tiled floors, private bathrooms with hot showers, ceiling fans, small refrigerators, coffee makers and a safe. One has three single beds and the other has one queen bed. Nightly rates are $38 for two people and $48 for three. Weekly rates are $210 for two people and $270 for three people.
The jungle deluxe cabin is a large cabin with a private bath, kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed and a loft with two single beds. Also, comes with a great porch with a hammock. The kitchen is equipped with a 3- foot tall fridge, a 3-burner stove top, pots, dishes and other kitchen necessities. The bedroom and bathroom are fully screened and the beds in the loft have mosquito nets. Nightly rates are $48 for two people and $10 more for each additional person. Weekly rates are $270 for two people and $60 for each additional person. They have Wi-Fi access on the premises.
