A typical Palm Farm can produce up to 30 metric tons of fruit bunches per hectare annually. Palm Farms can produce as much as 7,000 liters of palm oil per hectare. The oil palm is grown extensively in the tropics, accounting for 45 percent of edible oil worldwide.
